The Book Launch of ‘El polvo de los antepasados’ in Barcelona
The Spanish edition of Felix Pestemer’s ‘The Dust of the Ancestors’ is premiering at the end of October. The publishing house La Cúpula would like to invite you to the book launch of Felix Pestemer’s graphic novel ‘El polvo de los antepasados’ in Barcelona at the Goethe Institute and the FNAC Triangle.
As part of the events, there will be a slide presentation on the Mexican Day of the Dead that includes some of the extensive source material that inspired the stories in ‘The Dust of the Ancestors’.
From the Goethe Institute’s Calendar of Events: “The Berliner illustrator Felix Pestemer has generated a lot of excitement with his debut book The Dust of the Ancestors. His magnificent pictures narrate a story that revolves around the Mexican Día de los muertos (“Day of the Dead”). The Spanish translation, published by Ediciones La Cúpula, is finally appearing at the end of October. The artist will be present in person at the event.”
